Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
Manage a team covering the full range of DAWs within the Commercial Finance family
Drive commercial finance operating rhythms by providing centralized finance reporting capabilities, commercial productivity metrics, and commercial forecasting
Lead commercial financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis while supporting regional sales/commercial teams
Influence strategy within area, control resources, and contribute to policy formulation
Lead functional teams or projects, advise management and support decision making on important subjects
Use evaluative judgment to assess information quality, construct recommendations, and communicate complex concepts
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from an accredited university or college
9+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis and reporting
Competency in advanced analytic tools such as Domo, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire
Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment
Clear thinking / strong problem-solving; ability to grasp new ideas quickly; take initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP), Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) or similar (desired)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employer will not sponsor employment visas
