About the role

  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on GE HealthCare X-ray medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems in Salt Lake City, UT
  • Maintain relationships with customers; ensure timely communication, resolution, and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including ordering of parts
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as required

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related OR equivalent military education OR participant in GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship OR High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years servicing electronic equipment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs; frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, crawl, sit and stand for long periods; reach above/below shoulder level; good hand and finger dexterity
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols; ensure documentation of all work and ordering of parts
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen; some customers may require COVID-19 vaccination
