About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-site technical assistance to military organizations
  • Meet contractual commitments and business objectives
  • Act as liaison between customers and GE Aerospace engineering and factory teams
  • Support overhaul, management, repair, installation, and maintenance of military engine programs including F103 and CFM56
  • Interpret technical data and instructions for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Identify special tools and support proper use of tooling and handling equipment
  • Recommend and develop local informal training and identify training gaps
  • Review malfunctions, assist with fault isolation and root cause analysis, and resolve maintenance issues
  • Evaluate maintenance effectiveness to improve practices and reduce repeat issues
  • Assist with work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, data recording, and hardware tracking and availability
  • Apply analytical tools for root cause analysis, issue resolution, and trend identification
  • Demonstrate best practices for engine and component disassembly, repair, and assembly
  • Coordinate maintenance, logistics, and operational tasks between customers and GE Aerospace personnel
  • Coach and influence customer teams to improve maintenance effectiveness, readiness outcomes, and customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service/maintenance position as a Military Field Service Representative
  • Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on propulsion system products
  • Highly mobile to meet customer, program, and business needs
  • Currently possess or provide verified evidence to achieve a YW Level of USG Clearance
  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information, requiring U.S. Person status or government authorization
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
  • May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
