Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design aerospace systems for commercial and military applications and support them through service life
  • Work on development of engine controls, navigation and guidance systems, gas turbine engine components, electrical power systems, mechanical systems, vehicle health and data management systems, mission systems, computing systems, and platform systems integration
  • Perform design, analysis, development, and testing
  • Write software requirements
  • Conduct software testing and simulation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding
  • Attending a full-time matriculated program at a nationally accredited institution
  • Enrolled in a baccalaureate or graduate engineering program
  • Accepted degrees: Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Willingness and ability to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
  • Ability to prove U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Strong knowledge of computer and Microsoft products
  • Passion for engineering and commitment to a technology career
  • Leadership, decision-making, collaboration, analytical problem-solving, critical thinking, and initiative
