About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deploy a long-term commodity strategy aligned to business priorities, customer value, and product lifecycle needs
- Execute supplier relationship management strategies to build long-term relationships with suppliers that provide mutually beneficial relationships and drive stable operations
- Deliver against annual productivity targets to reduce costs while ensuring no disruption to service levels
- Ensure supply base compliance with regulatory requirements
- Build, develop, and coach a high-performing organization
- Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance
- Influence and collaborate with a broad stakeholder set, including internal business leaders, suppliers, customers, and other key decision-makers
- Serve as a practitioner and coach of FLIGHT DECK, applying daily and visual management, problem-solving, standard work, Kaizen, and action planning to drive continuous improvement
- Drive organization and supplier performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain Forecasting/Planning, Supply Chain Operations, or Commercial/Sales
- Willingness and ability to travel 30% based on business needs
