About the role
- Champion FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across PSM; foster continuous improvement
- Define and manage lean standards and processes; integrate FLIGHT DECK principles in both transactional and operational aspects
- Drive operational excellence by utilizing lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Lead change management, coaching and mentoring teams and leadership in lean principles and problem-solving methodologies
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement culture through hands-on engagement and coaching
- Develop the lean strategy within the procurement function; execute comprehensive lean training programs
- Collaborate across the organizational matrix to align strategy and vision with process improvements
- Define, track, and report on KPIs and/or TTIs
- Implement demand flow and utilize lean tools to streamline processes
- Engage with stakeholders to align technology and processes with GE Aerospace strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain / Operations experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in teaching, coaching, practicing, and/or applying lean methods (Value Stream Management, Cell Design, 5S, Kaizen, Leader Standard Work, Problem Solving, Kanban, lean transformations, etc)
