About the role

  • Participate in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
  • Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level
  • Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses
  • Researches and evaluates emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
  • Coaches and mentors team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data engineering
  • Eligibility Requirement: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, Quicksight
  • Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure) and architecture
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively, with a foundational understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Power BI, Quicksight)
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to data challenges and proactively identify next steps
  • A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and industry advancements
  • Comfort in ambiguity and ability to navigate complex, undefined scenarios
  • Business Acumen: Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
  • Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
  • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.
  • Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.
  • Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization
  • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
  • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities
