About the role
- Lead a team of Supplier Fulfillment Leaders to ensure delivery commitments are met while upholding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) standards.
- Strengthen supplier relationships, oversee delivery schedules, and drive continuous improvements in supply chain performance.
- Define and improve Sourcing delivery strategies at business or plant level.
- Manage a small to medium team of professionals; influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resources.
- Guide functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.
- Impacts the team's ability to achieve delivery, quality and timeliness of objectives.
- Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function\/in the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years experience) + minimum of 5 years defining and improving sourcing strategies at business or plant level.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
