About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting US Payroll Service Delivery
- Owning and managing core payroll components
- Processing multi-state payroll for all employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
- Managing deductions/garnishments
- Maintaining payroll systems
- Reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues or discrepancies in a professional manner
- Collaborating with HR, finance and vendors teams as needed
- Leading the approaches and best practices toward strategy of the services
- Ensuring delivery of quality processes and strategic priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience)
- Minimum of three years of payroll experience
- Workday payroll experience strong preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of payroll life-cycle and excel with quick adaptability to HCM systems, tools, and processes
- Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems.
- Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
- Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge and develop others through coaching and mentoring.
- Detail and numerical orientated with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
