About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting US Payroll Service Delivery
  • Owning and managing core payroll components
  • Processing multi-state payroll for all employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
  • Managing deductions/garnishments
  • Maintaining payroll systems
  • Reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues or discrepancies in a professional manner
  • Collaborating with HR, finance and vendors teams as needed
  • Leading the approaches and best practices toward strategy of the services
  • Ensuring delivery of quality processes and strategic priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of three years of payroll experience
  • Workday payroll experience strong preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll life-cycle and excel with quick adaptability to HCM systems, tools, and processes
  • Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems.
  • Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge and develop others through coaching and mentoring.
  • Detail and numerical orientated with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
