About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product backlog for the AI Control Tower and ensure it reflects the highest-value business and technical priorities.
- Lead the intake pipeline for control tower requests and ensure work is evaluated, prioritized, and governed appropriately.
- Define and maintain product management processes for backlog health, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to gather needs, clarify requirements, and sequence work effectively.
- Establish clear criteria for prioritization based on business value, strategic alignment, urgency, technical feasibility, and resource considerations.
- Drive product governance forums and operating cadences to support transparent decision-making and timely issue resolution.
- Ensure visibility to backlog status, product decisions, pipeline health, and execution risks.
- Lead cross-functional alignment on scope, dependencies, tradeoffs, and release priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve product flow, backlog quality, and overall control tower effectiveness.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to support execution of prioritized work.
- Use data, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve the product and its supporting processes.
- Apply lean and FLIGHT DECK principles to standardize team operating mechanisms and improve execution.
- Lead and develop a team supporting product intake, backlog management, prioritization, governance, and delivery coordination.
- Set clear goals, responsibilities, and expectations for the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical product management, product ownership, program management, or portfolio leadership.
- Experience leading product backlog management, intake, prioritization, and governance processes.
- Experience working across business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into structured product plans and priorities.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
