Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee export shipment operations ensuring strict compliance with applicable authorizations
Prepare, review, and file export declarations with precision
Conduct systematic audits of export declaration records
Monitor, track, and report on trade compliance activities
Develop and deliver training on export shipment processes
Support senior ITC team members in preparing authorization applications
Process requests for export license exemptions applying sound regulatory judgment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 4 years professional experience in trade compliance or a closely regulated field, or Associates degree with minimum of 6 years professional experience, or High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years professional experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in trade compliance or a closely regulated field
Demonstrated experience in export operations including end-to-end process management and ensuring regulatory compliance
Strong working knowledge and practical application of International Trade Compliance regulations including ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Customs
Proficiency with DECCS and SNAP-R platforms
Unwavering commitment to compliance, ethics, and integrity
Strong judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Excellent stakeholder relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proactive mindset with exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Adaptable and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities and concurrent assignments
