About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of inlet and exhaust systems projects
- Develop and execute module-level design strategies, including managing product and system requirements flowdown
- Contribute to innovation and technical advancements for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements, and problem resolution
- Provide leadership during design reviews and collaborate across teams
- Lead cross-functional teams with moderate resource requirements
- Present technical data to internal and external customers
- Identify and solve technical problems, recommend best practices, and develop action plans
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inlet and exhaust systems design, with demonstrated contributions to module-level activities
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (desired)
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and support module-level initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing and resolving technical challenges
- Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing and component manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior team members, fostering technical growth and leadership development
