About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead programs through the entire systems engineering lifecycle IAW ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254
Define, validate, and verify system requirements
Generate and allocate system functional requirements and functional architecture utilizing MBSE
Define data interfaces and component interactions utilizing model-based approaches
Develop innovative technical solutions utilizing the full capabilities of GE Aviation Systems
Interact with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements
Define and maintain program plans for execution of systems processes IAW ARP4754
Develop new tools and automation scripts in support of MBSE objectives
Support configuration control of model-based artifacts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in EE, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
2 years’ Experience in MBSE engineering development
2 years’ Experience with a modeling language (UPDM, SysML, UML, etc.)
2 years’ Experience with MBSE tooling (Cameo, Sparx, Rhapsody, etc.)
Ability & Willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
U.S. citizenship status required
