About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the connection and interface between Quality to Integrated Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer facing organizations
- Focused on enabling flow, improving quality, and ensuring Clear To Build (CTB) risks to the business are minimized
- Act as a tactical leader, process improvement owner, and mentor to others within the team to optimize quality to enable delivery for all Combat & Trainer Engine (CTE) product lines
- Lead quality efforts across F110 product lines by interfacing between engineering, supply chain, and product line teams at the part-number and supplier level
- Support customer delivery and performance communications by partnering with Integrated Manufacturing and the Defense Quality & Delivery Integration Leader on part-specific and process-specific deep dives
- Develop and implement quality strategies for critical hardware, including suppliers and initiatives that impact more than one CTE product line
- Identify and resolve constraints that impact Clear to Build (CTB) and Operational Output Targets (OOT) for engines and spares, using data-driven analysis and structured problem solving
- Communicate effectively across functions and levels, building consensus and influencing outcomes in a highly matrixed environment
- Mentor and coach colleagues with less experience, sharing best practices on defect reduction and MRB FTY.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality, Operations, Engineering, related technical field or 7 years of experience in related fields such as procurement, planning, manufacturing, or fulfillment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using structured problem-solving methods
- Proven experience leading programs or projects in complex, cross-functional environments
- Established project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and risk management
- Expertise working within the GE Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS)
