Staff Engineer – Systems

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function
- Interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes
- Responsible for driving Risk trades within the teams
- Manages customer contracts for engineering team by working closely with finance, project, and contract teams
- Responsible for quarterly strategic workforce planning and data collections for organizational decision making
- Drive LOB (Line of Balance) activity for demonstrator/technology programs
- Prepare and present material for financial/schedule approvals at PCB (Program Control Board)
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong expertise on excel, databases/queries
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Established project management skills
- Experience/familiarity with PCM, engineering financials, PCB process
