About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the connection and interface between Engineering, Technology & Operations, and Customer facing organizations, focused on manufacturing readiness and hardware availability to support the Combat and Trainer Engine (CTE) organization
  • Act as a strategic hardware specialist, process improvement owner, and experienced mentor to other hardware owners within the team to optimize delivery for all CTE product lines
  • Lead hardware execution across CTE product lines by interfacing between project teams, engineering, and supply chain at the part-number and supplier level
  • Support customer delivery and performance communications by partnering with Product Operations Leaders and the Product Operations Director
  • Develop and implement supply strategies for assigned hardware, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and initiatives that impact more than one CTE product line
  • Identify and resolve constraints that impact Clear to Build (CTB) and Operational Output Targets (OOT) for engines and spares
  • Represent manufacturing in key governance forums
  • Apply sound judgment and technical expertise to solve complex tasks
  • Use data to target the most impactful problems across CTE product lines
  • Mentor and coach colleagues with less experience
  • Communicate effectively across functions and levels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing programs or product operations, or 10 years of experience in related fields such as procurement, planning, manufacturing, quality, or fulfillment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using structured problem-solving methods
  • Proven experience leading programs or projects in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Established project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and risk management
  • Experience in production planning and/or master scheduling
  • Experience working within the GE Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Experience in NPI manufacturing and source change management
