About the role
- Manage team of 20+ employees directly and indirectly
- Responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across the team
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for both US GAAP and statutory requirements
- Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles
- Drive efficient, routine, and compliant close processes
- Lead efforts to reduce monthly close cycle time by 50% over the next two years
- Provide strategic controllership support to MRO finance, operations, and Time & Materials commercial teams
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and processes to continuously improve Controllership within the MRO network
- Lead the Controllership aspects of the ongoing ERP transformation journey
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address complex accounting challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with progressing leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Expertise in analyzing and resolving complex financial and operational challenges
- Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable leading through uncertainty and driving results in dynamic environments
- CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with lean operating concepts and application to Controllership and operational processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale programs/projects and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization
