About the role
- Maximize contract performance while maintaining supplier relationships
- Manage existing contracts to measure performance of contractual T&Cs against expectations
- Identify gaps or opportunities and manage cross-functional team actions
- Drive cross-functional problem solving and structured action plans for supplier improvement
- Act as chief negotiator in significant deals
- Manage supplier relationships by driving business reviews on a regular basis
- Liaise between internal organizations and suppliers for assigned contracts
- Recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services based on business challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles
- Demonstrated commercial leadership and experience in negotiating large, complex deals
- Experienced in drafting, negotiating, and closing contracts, including business and legal terms
- Role may require up to 50% travel
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
