About the role
- Drives units and/or system level functional performance to deliver customer solutions
- Defines and conducts testing of components and/or entire engines
- Reports performance with respect to the guaranteed values in accordance with industry codes and standards
- Participates in the research, design, development, and enhancement of technologies in the areas of performance, operability, and cost optimization
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
