About the role
- Lead the development and industrialization of composite components and assemblies for next-generation engine programs
- Integrate and mature manufacturing processes across functions
- Solve complex technical issues
- Contribute to long-term planning and readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware
- Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact
- Design and develop mold tooling
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to new engineers in function
- Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned
- Make recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience + minimum of 5 years (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience
- Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding & Weaving technology, Ply shape development, Prepreg hand layup, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing)
- Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP)
- Skilled in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
