About the role
- Responsible for creating a clear strategic direction for development needs and convey that vision to DevOps team
- Direct the team that manages an IFS ERP environment with clear requirements
- Manage government contract commitments and oversee financials
- Collaborate with GE Aerospace Program Managers to integrate capabilities into sustainment contracts
- Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) excellence in product development
- Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements and obtain product feedback
- Own the release and sprint backlogs
- Continuously prioritize backlog items based on customer needs and problem validation
- Engage frequently with development team to facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance, and validation
- Ensure compliance with timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements of government contracts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity in Flow/Pull principles
- Knowledge on technical topics such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security
- Familiarity with managing an ERP solution, specifically IFS
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts using FLIGHTDECK
- Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single perspective to the DevOps team
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
