About the role
- Own creating and implementing strategies responsive to external environment and internal business goals
- Lead the translation of commercial strategies to drive meaningful outcomes through linkages to larger business strategy
- Develop commercial consistency within supply base and lead vision for emerging suppliers and technologies
- Innovate commercial strategies, define supplier market, and lead change management
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Create long-term strategy for suppliers in collaboration with commercial supplier teams
- Participate in commodity business continuity planning process
- Ensure developed strategies align with supplier relationship management
- Provide deal support for the sub-commodity
- Ensure sub-commodity financial CTQs are understood and balanced
- Provide commodity expertise in modeling of new deals, suppliers, and technologies
- Participate in budgeting, strategy, and other operating rhythms as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 4 plus years in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/ Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain, and/or Contract Management roles or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/ Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain, and/or Contract Management roles
