About the role
- Report to the MRO Value Engineering Leader in the MRO Technology & Cost group
- Drive improvements in component repair by partnering with cross functional teams
- Participate in special process auditing of the GE MRO network
- Collaborate effectively with different repair shops and HQ to ensure quality and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or at least 4 years of experience in an MRO manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience in welding or welding engineering for Aerospace hardware, preferably aircraft engine hardware
- Knowledge of overhaul and component repair processes
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Ability to travel 50% to international destinations, including but not limited to: USA, Brazil, United Kingdom, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
