Engineer

• Support GE's internal sites and external suppliers in ensuring compliance with industry requirements, such as AS9100
• Organize and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute on product and process improvements
• Support the Sourcing Supplier Teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Provide expertise to the team on manufacturing processes
• Ensure process compliance with AS9100 Special Processes as used in Polymer Composites
• Proactively identify delivery barriers and resolve with fulfilment, commercial, quality, and engineering team members
• Guide and influence suppliers’ performance based on manufacturing expertise
• Actively drive cost reduction efforts within assigned supply base and is proactively engaged in addressing cost issues
