About the role

  • Report to the MRO Value Engineering Leader in the ATMRO Manufacturing Engineering group
  • Drive improvements in component repair by partnering with cross functional teams
  • Execute special process auditing of GE MRO network based on quality requirements
  • Collaborate with different repair shops and HQ to ensure that newly developed repairs are industrialized properly
  • Identify and problem solve for constraints to achieve a 30-day repair TAT with 100% FTY
  • Drive productivity improvements in the network by understanding best practices
  • Support the strategic growth of chemical cleaning in the GE Aerospace ATMRO network

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or at least 5 years of experience in an MRO manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in the repair of Aerospace hardware, preferably aircraft engine hardware
  • Knowledge of overhaul and component repair processes
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Ability to travel 50% to international destinations, including but not limited to: USA, Brazil, United Kingdom, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan
