About the role
- Report to the MRO Value Engineering Leader in the ATMRO Manufacturing Engineering group
- Drive improvements in component repair by partnering with cross functional teams
- Execute special process auditing of GE MRO network based on quality requirements
- Collaborate with different repair shops and HQ to ensure that newly developed repairs are industrialized properly
- Identify and problem solve for constraints to achieve a 30-day repair TAT with 100% FTY
- Drive productivity improvements in the network by understanding best practices
- Support the strategic growth of chemical cleaning in the GE Aerospace ATMRO network
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or at least 5 years of experience in an MRO manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience in the repair of Aerospace hardware, preferably aircraft engine hardware
- Knowledge of overhaul and component repair processes
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Ability to travel 50% to international destinations, including but not limited to: USA, Brazil, United Kingdom, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan
