Responsible for performing mechanical analysis for new technology development programs
Collaborating across multiple teams
Leading the program within their domain
Evaluating strength and durability of structural and rotating engine components
Conducting stress and life analyses to support engine certifications
Providing hands-on mentoring to junior engineers
Monitoring and communicating project status to stakeholders
Requirements
Graduated from Mechanical, Aeronautical or Metallurgical Engineering Departments of universities, post graduate degree is a plus
Have strong engineering fundamentals in solid mechanics, theory of elasticity and numerical methods
Self-motivated and eager to learn
At least 6 years of experience hands-on finite element analysis using ANSYS or other commercial FEA software (ABAQUS, Optistruct, Nastran, Patran etc.)
Familiarity with CAD (Unigraphics or other commercial CAD software)
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
