About the role
- Align with Opportunity Identification & Development efforts to support strategic business pursuits
- Contribute to the development and refinement of capture strategies, providing financial insights and recommendations
- Lead the creation of business cases for strategic captures, ensuring robust financial analysis and alignment with organizational goals
- Serve as the Finance functional counterpart for pre-proposal support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success
- Facilitate the Finance team handoff from opportunity development to proposal support, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of financial oversight
Requirements
- Strong background in finance, business case development, and strategic planning within the aerospace or defense industry
- Experience supporting capture teams and contributing to strategy development
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across functions
- Ability to manage transitions and ensure alignment between opportunity development and proposal support phases
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Finance / Deal Underwriting
