About the role
- Serve as the DevOps Pod Leader overseeing a team of contract worker developers to design, build, and support analytics solutions for the Supply Chain function.
- Collaborate with DSC TPM to scope and prioritize application development needs.
- Define and set operational support standards.
- Contribute to development and support activities.
- Assess capacity and skillset needs and constraints within the development team.
- Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements.
- Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Develop new application enhancements.
- Document system changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 years.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
- Previous data engineering experience and SQL skills are required.
- Python skills desired but not required.
- Understand the GEA Enterprise Data Lake ecosystem (Redshift, source ingestion, SQL data stitching).
