Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation
Select suppliers through qualification processes
Own supplier results and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards
Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance and drive improvement plans
Track metrics and work on quality improvement plans to address problem areas
Review documentation and witness supplier practices to determine sound manufacturing and inspection principles
Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years Quality experience in a manufacturing site)
Minimum of 3 years Quality experience in a manufacturing site
Experience with either investment casting process or product engineering
Knowledgeable about New Product Start-Up and APQP
Established project management skills
Background in supplier quality and supplier management
Experience in airfoils or structural castings
Experience managing quality or manufacturing teams
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
