About the role
- Lead and manage the site compliance audit program, ensuring comprehensive assessments of control effectiveness and compliance culture across all sites
- Utilize lean principles to streamline audit processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement in program execution
- Develop and implement audit strategies and methodologies to enhance program efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives
- Interface directly with senior leadership, including company officers, to present audit findings, provide actionable recommendations, and influence strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of audit processes with business objectives and compliance initiatives
- Continuously monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure the audit program remains current and effective
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 8+ years of professional audit experience including leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-site projects
- Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to interface effectively with senior leadership
- Familiarity with lean principles and their application in driving process improvement
- Ability to travel 20% of the time, domestic and international
