About the role

  • Drive management of change and deployment of Product Quality Planning for assigned parts/suppliers
  • Develop procedures, regulations, and work instructions for APQP and AS9145 / AS13100
  • Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality standards are met
  • Lead/Develop roadmaps for successful integration of Management of change Product Quality Planning
  • Generate executive summaries indicating status, business impact, and significant issues related to NPI projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor individuals and teams on PPAP elements such as FMEAs and Control Plans
  • Maintain and communicate Source Change and/or NPI plan execution to partner pillars and customer program stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing for automotive or aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
  • Knowledge of government compliance and quality control regulatory standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Established project management skills
  • Experience working in Quality Assurance
  • Understanding of AS9100 – AS13100
  • Knowledge of measurement techniques such as Metrology, Inspection Methods, and Equipment
  • Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Planning and prioritizing activities
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
