About the role
- Drive management of change and deployment of Product Quality Planning for assigned parts/suppliers
- Develop procedures, regulations, and work instructions for APQP and AS9145 / AS13100
- Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality standards are met
- Lead/Develop roadmaps for successful integration of Management of change Product Quality Planning
- Generate executive summaries indicating status, business impact, and significant issues related to NPI projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor individuals and teams on PPAP elements such as FMEAs and Control Plans
- Maintain and communicate Source Change and/or NPI plan execution to partner pillars and customer program stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing for automotive or aerospace industry
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
- Knowledge of government compliance and quality control regulatory standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project management skills
- Experience working in Quality Assurance
- Understanding of AS9100 – AS13100
- Knowledge of measurement techniques such as Metrology, Inspection Methods, and Equipment
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Planning and prioritizing activities
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
