About the role
- Provide guidance and advice to technical experts in determining regulatory jurisdiction and classification
- Develop processes, procedures, and training for regulatory jurisdiction and classification determinations
- Assist business units with implementation of jurisdiction and classification program requirements
- Interface with engineering disciplines and customers in a collaborative environment
- Prepare jurisdiction or classification requests to regulatory authorities
- Support jurisdiction and classification activities related to compliance investigations and M&A
- Perform audits and assessments of global sites
- Monitor jurisdiction and classification-related laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR high school diploma with minimum of 14 years of professional experience
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience with export jurisdiction and classification determinations of hardware, software, and technical information in accordance with global export control lists, including the USML and CCL.
