About the role
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and within departments according to production schedules
- Plan and schedule material/production needs
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years planning, materials experience or related supply chain experience)
- Minimum of 5 years planning, materials or related supply chain experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
