The Sales Operations Manager is a key contributor to critical sales operations functions including bookings budget planning, sales compensation, Salesforce CRM oversight, sales forecasting, sales administrator enablement, sales performance management, and sales analytics in support of GDT’s growth strategy
This role requires advanced customer service and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive process efficiencies and maturation
Oversee Salesforce CRM processes, usage, and governance for Sales Operations, partnering with Information Technology, Sales, and other departments as needed to support system requirements
Partner with the Sales Administrator (S3) team to coordinate enablement and process / systems improvement opportunities within a cross functional team
Utilize strong analytical skills to participate in sales and GAAP forecasting, sales performance management process, Tuesday sales meeting cadence, quarterly business review preparation, and board meeting preparation as needed
Create ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed in support of the sales organization
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, finance, or a related field
6-8+ years of experience in sales operations, sales compensation, or finance
Microsoft Office, including expert Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Highly analytical and able to present to all levels of the organization
Team oriented with good communication skills, flexible and adaptable
Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no supervision
