About the role
- Coordinate and ready material from suppliers for networks Comet, Charge, ROAR, and The Nest
- Perform compliance checks on acquisitions for Growth Networks
- Screen upcoming films or series to confirm compliance reports from editing team
- Update compliance reports with additional edits based on severity of content
- Complete screenings and compliance in a timely manner to ensure content is edited in time for air
- Create entries for film/TV properties including entering metadata from distributors/Gracenote (titles, production year, production company, duration, episode titles and descriptions, ratings)
- Enter and update all contract data for film/TV acquisitions
- Create and maintain SASO ID/House numbers used by Traffic & Master Control
- Ensure all properties are accurate and adjust any discrepancies that arise
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to make sure content is formatted and ready for its available rights windows
- Manage ingesting and screening of content and collaborate with internal teams to prepare content for air
Requirements
- Heavy data entry experience
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Must be comfortable viewing/being exposed to potentially objectionable materials (movie scenes with nudity, swearing, drugs, violence, rape, adult situations) for S&P review
- Prior entertainment experience is a strong plus but not necessary
- Prior experience with/exposure to contracts is strongly desired
- Experience with Mediagenix or other scheduling systems (desired)
- Experience with Rightsline or other rights management systems (desired)
- Experience with video editing/understanding of time code and related concepts (desired)
- Understanding of programming & post-production practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a broadcast television environment
