About the role

  • Create highly shareable original content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok for Sinclair's Amazing America and Let's Eat
  • Apply versatile production and post-production skills to visual storytelling and social media formats
  • Execute creative vision, stay hyperaware of social trends, and craft content that captures diverse audiences
  • Assist in development and design of in-show graphic elements and basic motion graphics
  • Prepare assets, export for multiple platforms, and manage project organization for handoff

Requirements

  • Please include a portfolio or samples of your design work with your application
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with hands-on experience
  • Ingesting, transcoding, and relinking media, and creation of proxy workflows
  • Audio/video syncing, basic sound editing, loudness standards, and audio cleaning
  • Color correction basics, LUT application, shot matching
  • Knowledge of export settings for various platforms and formats
  • Troubleshooting common technical issues
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for basic titles, animations, keyframing, masking, tracking, text animation, and dynamic linking workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for resizing, retouching, and preparing layered PSDs for motion work
  • Experience sourcing and integrating music, SFX, alternate footage
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to organize file/folder structures and setup project files for handoff
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in post-production
  • Highly skilled across Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Premiere Rush, Photoshop, After Effects, etc)
  • Strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling
  • Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and creating social media video content
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Deep understanding of social media trends and platform-specific content
  • Vertical video editing skills and ability to capture well composed videos on a phone
  • Must be highly motivated, extremely organized, and creatively minded
