About the role
- Lead and manage partnership tax compliance and consulting engagements, including partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A-related tax matters.
- Prepare, review, and provide guidance on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation, partnership returns, joint venture, and non-corporate entity tax returns.
- Provide technical expertise in US GAAP and complex tax accounting issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with exceptional service and communication.
- Mentor, train, and coach junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client proposals and engagement planning.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently.
Requirements
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience, ideally in public accounting.
- Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A is preferred.
- Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Must be from a top 10 accounting firm.
