About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctorate degree in Counselor Education
- Independent licensure in counseling or a closely related field (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCPC, or equivalent) OR Master’s in degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related counseling degree AND 5 years work experience as an Independent Licensed Counselor
- Maintain an active membership in a recognized counseling association
- Show evidence of experience in one or more of the following areas: counseling advocacy; research or other scholarly work; at least two years of clinical practice; or counselor education.
