Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and manage strategic plans, company policies, and operations for the respective cluster
  • Provide strategic advice to regional and business-line executives and stakeholders
  • Establish company goals and prepare long-term and short-term objectives
  • Advise and participate in board activities and advise the chairperson on market and industry matters
  • Plan cost-effective business strategies and develop ideas aligned with market, industry, and company growth strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience as an international multi-country/unit leader or related title
  • Relevant experience ideally in the airline, airline catering, catering, food service, or food production industry, operations, and logistics
  • International business management experience, preferably with unions, collective agreements, and labor laws
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
  • Strong knowledge of the company, business, brand, and product, and understanding of its market/industry position
  • Ability to mentor and lead
  • Ability to analyze problems and strategize better solutions
  • Knowledge of budgetary and accounting functions
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally, approximately 75% of the time
  • Compliance with applicable local laws and regulations
