About the role
- Provides financial, analytical, and technical support to the clinical areas of the Medical Center
- Assists the GBMA Controller by providing direct oversight and support in the preparation of the annual operating budget
- Reviews and monitors monthly budget variance reports
- Provides educational support for the managers by developing workshops
- Provides support for ad hoc financial analysis of existing or proposed projects
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Business Administration or Health Administration
- MBA or CPA strongly preferred
- 1 year progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a health care environment
- Knowledge of advanced accounting, financial analysis, statistics and modern financial management theory
- Skill in data analysis and interpretations of marketing, financial, statistical and accounting data
- Advanced skill in using computers and personal productivity applications
