About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all business, operational, and administrative functions for American Experience
- Act as key liaison with PBS Distribution and manage administrative aspects of fundraising
- Provide input and editorial guidance on series finances and budgeting
- Partner with senior management on programming schedules and compile PBS proposals
- Develop and manage professional relationships with various stakeholders
- Act as series principal contact with Human Resources for hiring and staff development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 15+ years of leadership and project management experience
- Experience in developing and directing entrepreneurial strategies
- Successful track record in securing funding from diverse sources
- Acumen for budget forecasting, planning, and compliance issues
- Ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously
