Senior role reporting to the Sales Director responsible for securing large-scale new business across GBG's product portfolio.
Generate leads and opportunities within targeted territories and customer segments.
Qualify and follow up on new business sales opportunities following agreed sales process and methodology.
Engage with customers at strategic and operational levels; lead presentations and negotiations.
Oversee subject matter experts' engagement to demonstrate GBG product value and business benefits.
Produce proposals including pricing and commercial structure; organise customer reference visits.
Support preparation and delivery of bids and tenders with the Sales Director.
Work with Legal to finalise contracts and participate in final negotiations.
Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure delivery matches sold solutions and manage client expectations during delivery and handover to Customer Success.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to feed client and sector challenges into Product Roadmap and liaise with Technical Sales on product developments.
Devise and implement strategy for meeting personal sales performance targets; attend industry events and identify USPs using market and competitor knowledge.
Requirements
Previously worked in senior leadership and or commercial roles, international experience is a preference.
Demonstrable track record of new business sales in a complex B2B environment, preferably in a solution or technology led sector.
Target driven with demonstrable experience of planning, working to, and exceeding sales targets.
Proven ability of understanding and presenting complex solutions into a simple, value proposition.
Excellent knowledge and demonstration of process to understand the customer’s buying process.
