Gauge

AI Engineer

Gauge

AI Engineer transforming business context into real deliveries using AI agents at Gauge, a digital marketing company.

Posted 5/16/2026full-timeRemote • 🇧🇷 BrazilMid-LevelSeniorWebsite

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate business needs into structured specs — the starting point for any delivery
  • Select and trigger the correct Skills for each task from the repository maintained by Forge
  • Guide AI agents in Antigravity or similar tools to execute complex tasks
  • Validate outputs — functionality, adherence to standards, and expected business result
  • Report gaps and unexpected behaviors to the AI Architects team
  • Maintain delivery cadence — you are responsible for the product, not the code
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine specs and ensure alignment before execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to bridge business and technology — you don’t need to know everything, but you must know enough to ask the right questions
  • Experience with agentic tools — Antigravity, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
  • Process discipline — spec before any execution, no shortcuts
  • Good judgment — knowing when an output is wrong even without knowing exactly why
  • Clear communication — both with business stakeholders and with agents
  • Comfort with ambiguity and continuous learning — the model evolves, and so do you
  • Fluent English — reading, writing, and technical communication. Documentation, tools, and the agentic ecosystem are predominantly in English
  • Background in software development — even if not the main focus, understanding how code works helps validate outputs more accurately
  • Experience in product, business analysis, or design — those who can articulate the problem well write better specs
  • Experience with Spec Driven Development or similar methodologies
  • Familiarity with the Agent Skills pattern
