About the role

  • Develop custom solutions using Stencil, JavaScript, and BigCommerce APIs
  • Create and maintain integrations with external systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, anti-fraud services, etc.)
  • Participate in defining platform architecture and technical decisions
  • Work with the design team to translate prototypes into functional, responsive pages
  • Ensure security, performance, and scalability of the online store
  • Work with agile methodologies in continuous delivery cycles
  • Monitor and support the production environment with a focus on high availability

Requirements

  • Proven experience with BigCommerce (Stencil, REST APIs, Webhooks)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Git
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Familiarity with headless e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with version control and staging/testing environments
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, and GitHub
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or Adyen
  • Knowledge of checkout customization, coupon rules, price clustering, and shipping configuration
