About the role
- Drive high growth sales while expanding our market presence across the US
- Support strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration in key sectors and geographic markets.
- Support sales in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and objectives to provide tailored AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Track technical sales metrics and trends to ensure continued growth
- Support sales in developing business cases and gaining alignment from technical and operational decision makers
- Develop technical objection handling guidelines to support the sales team in effectively articulating the value proposition of Gather AI's solutions and overcoming customer objections.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics effectively.
- Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with product development, marketing campaigns, and business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the technology or robotics industry.
- Have a working knowledge of the following and ability to understand customer needs in these areas:
- Demonstrated success in selling high-value, complex solutions to enterprise clients, with a focus on consultative selling and ROI-based discussions.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and related challenges.
- Proven track record of success in application engineering pre-sales roles.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage and track sales activities
- Strong team collaboration skills with a track record of activating commercial teams to achieve high sales performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation.
