About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process and respond to requests for information regarding the State Eligibility System
Oversee the patient Self Pay process
Generate, send and retrieve electronic reports to State Eligibility System
Enter data into the patient medical record and updates applicable changes from reports
Investigate discrepancies regarding patient payer information
Inform internal staff of potential patient losses of insurance coverage
Update and monitor spreadsheets shared with staff
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and departments
Track monthly payments from patients and generate self-pay reports
Maintain State Eligibility and Self-Pay procedures
Work on special projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED required
Experience with State Eligibility systems preferred
Experience with Self Pay processes preferred
Excellent organizational and data entry skills
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Pass PA Criminal Background Check
Obtain both PA Childline and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances
Drug Screen
TB Testing
