About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and deliver products and applications integrating with databases, AWS Services, and REST APIs
Develop applications using NodeJS and ReactJS in an Agile/Scrum environment
Follow coding standards and build unit and integration tests
Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces with cross-browser compatibility and performance
Participate in technical design and contribute ideas for changes and new features
Own small-to-medium features from technical design through launch
Conduct system analysis with a Lead Engineer to improve operations
Develop a scalable and secure platform for Gartner Peer Insights and Gartner Peer Platform sites

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field
2–4 years of experience developing customer-facing products or web applications
Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS/Next.JS, and TypeScript
Expert skills in CSS, HTML, and design libraries
Experience consuming and creating RESTful APIs
Strong experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good understanding of security best practices
Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies (nice to have)
Experience in distributed systems, high-traffic services, or data-intensive platforms (nice to have)
