About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement Sales Learning & Enablement strategy aligned with business needs, organizational strategies, salesforce needs, and future challenges
  • Build programs and processes for operating the SL&E function, measuring impact and effectiveness, driving improvement, communicating across the team, and building team culture
  • Serve as PMO, driving project management and organization across multiple workstreams
  • Move initiatives forward and manage and coordinate stakeholders and contributors
  • Build and coordinate presentations and decks
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic recommendations grounded in business economics
  • Collaborate with Sales leaders and business partners to understand current and future needs and inform strategies and programs
  • Lead preparation and development of executive-level meeting materials and presentations
  • Represent the function at key leadership meetings
  • Partner across GSSO to align SL&E with overall GSSO strategy and initiatives
  • Collaborate across teams to stay abreast of initiatives impacting SL&E
  • Report to the GVP Sales Learning & Enablement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years’ business experience, preferably in or supporting research sales or a similar business
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales operations, including systems and processes
  • Ability to influence at senior leadership level
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of operations strategy, trends, issues, and data analysis
  • Ability to use judgment to analyze and evaluate varying factors to find solutions
  • Ability to see past the numbers, adapt to change, and explain concepts to audiences with varying experience and understanding
  • Strong collaboration skills to bring others together and resolve problems or interpret complex information
  • Demonstrated abilities in project execution
  • Highly competent user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • MBA, consulting, or operations experience combined with sales highly valued
