About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive New Business Growth
- Identify, prospect, and secure new opportunities across large enterprise accounts
- Build and execute territory plans focused on net-new business acquisition
- Engage senior decision makers and become a trusted advisor within the C suite
- Create and advance high value sales opportunities through strategic, consultative selling
- Uncover new business units, stakeholders, and growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Increase Gartner's footprint through cross functional and multi product expansion
- Develop account strategies that drive long term client value and revenue growth
- Retain and Grow Strategic Accounts
- Partner with clients to ensure they realise value from Gartner's insights and services
- Build executive relationships that support long-term retention and renewal success
- Identify emerging priorities and align Gartner solutions to evolving business needs
- Lead Executive Conversations Around Critical Priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience with proven direct solution based and often complex sales processes with evidence of prior success in Sales
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
- Prior experience of Value based, Consultative, B2B sales experience
- Experience prospecting to the C-Suite and senior-level leadership of enterprise businesses
- High Quick learning attributes that enable you to pivot and work through ambiguity
- Ability to demonstrate strong sales process and strategies
- Track record of over-achievement on goals or quotas
- Prior knowledge and experience of intangible sales processes is highly advantageous.
