About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content
- Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
- Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts
- Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights
- Create and deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings
- Provide sales support serving as voice of the market
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
- Evidence of leading or playing a significant role on large-scale ITSM platforms/tools implementations from key market players such as ServiceNow, BMC
- Deep practitioner experience in IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations
- Demonstrated expertise in asset and dependency mapping
- Strong understanding of the intersection between ITSM and IT operations management
- Experience leading research or strategic initiatives on AI-driven transformation in ITSM
- Working experience with modern operations practices such as DevOps, SRE, platform engineering or agile product teams
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
- Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
